Psychiatry Nice Little Earner
I have mentioned in previous articles – admittedly with some contempt – so-called psychiatric diagnostic Manual.

Its full title is: "The American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM)."

This sounds very impressive, scientific and medical, as well it is because there is this guide from the psychiatric "Billing Bible" of so-called mental disorders.

When psychiatrists label someone with one or more of the fancy-sounding problems in the manual, the label will stick and any evidence of Psychiatry necessary to "treatment" for publicly traded start the "disorder" and the bill of the person insured, the government or whatever sucker stumps until the dough.

The disease must, of course, really, because (a) a fancy name, and (b) mentioned in a book. The treatment, which is now subject to the poor devil stuck with a psychiatric label almost always (a) a hit and miss taking drugs with different hazardous Pills and potions, or (b) electric shocks, or (c) remove the bits of his brain, or (d) a combination of these.

The victim ….. sorry, I my patients ….. usually deteriorates, which is hardly surprising, given the abuses, which he is subjected. The deterioration requires expensive treatment, the other causes of deterioration.

This is wonderful for psychiatry and the pharmaceutical industry because it allows them to rake in Mammon but less so for patients who would hardly fared worse if you have implemented only the head in a meat grinder, and had made it.

But what about the DSM, on which the entire money-making wheeze?

Now you have a look at it if you have a moment. It is an exciting Reading.

The first you will notice is that almost every nuance of human behavior in the list of "disorders" a Treatment is included. Virtually every mood south of total divine perfection, according to psychiatry, mental illness, which means all of us crazy. Therefore we are all candidates for a psychiatric label and expensive numbed brain or crushing, which is for our medical insurance and government pay the bill.
