discount college textbooks
Do you think this business would work?
I would like to start a business selling college textbooks at discount prices. I know of a site that can get me books at nearly half the price of the college bookstores. Any ideas of what I can put in an ad in a local classifieds paper (20 words or less)?
like with any business, you must do your home work first, find out what the demand for the books are locally, make sure that the editions you are getting at cut rates are acceptable for the local colleges, there is nothing worse than getting the book requested for the class only to find out you have the wrong edition / revised edition and STILL need to go out and find the right one.
With the place you are buying them from, what is their policy about returning books that you might not sell.??
And I would place an ad in craigslist and on any direct college notice boards rather than the classifieds.
Now, students can rent textbooks online
With the cabinet’s approval of a bill allowing foreign varsities to set up campuses in India and the number of students opting for higher studies on the upswing, the textbook market could open a new chapter in business opportunity.
